ART SWANSON AWARD

The PCARC presents their Ham of the Year award at the annual club Christmas party. The award is named The Art Swanson, N9EDN, Award after a deceased club member who was always ready to help. No matter what was going on or who needed some help, Art was always first in line to do his part.

The above picture was taken in 1995 and shows William Peterson, N9LL (SK) the club President on the left presenting the award to David Nicolaus, W9DN, on the right. The Award reads: For outstanding contributions to Amateur Radio and the Porter County Amateur Radio Club.
