Hobart QSO with Space Station

Many Porter County hams assisted Mike Frank, KF9WW, with the amateur radio contact on July 31, 2001 between the International Space Station and Joan Martin Elementary School in Hobart, Indiana. The early morning contact (4 A.M. local CDT) was an outstanding success as all 17 children got to ask their questions of astronaut Jim Voss.
