February meeting & Special Auction!
Club dues for 2010 are due now! The February meeting is the nomination of officers and directors for 2010. You must be paid-up to nominate and hold office. Dues must be paid before March 1st to vote in the election at the March 5th meeting.

Special Auction! The PCARC received a very generous donation from Ernie Larson, NX9X, of electronic parts and incomplete projects. Thanks Ernie! These will be offered to club members in a sealed-bid auction at the February 5th club meeting. Some good stuff here... come out to the meeting, enhance your collection, and bid high to help the club! if you have any questions.


ARES website & email list
Congratulations to John, W8OCG, on his appointment as the new ARES EC for Porter County! John asked that an email list be created to support his need for contact and coordination among the ARES volunteers. So... click here to sign up! Help the National Weather Service
Bill N9CEG would like your help supporting the National Weather Service with precipitation reports from your location. All you need is an inexpensive rain gauge and to report your daily amounts on the Indiana Wet Net every morning on the LaPorte ARC repeater (146.61, - offset, 131.8 PL) from 6:00-7:00am Monday-Saturday. The net is active on Sundays only if there is precipitation on Saturday night. Email , for more info. Thanks!
